End-of-year traditions were back at Pequenakonck Elementary School this week. Today, the school hosted the first of its two Field Days for all students. Field Day is an annual outdoor event in which students take part in friendly games and contests to mark the end of the school year. The school was unable to host Field Day last year due to the pandemic. K-2 students participated today and students in grades 3-5 will have their turn this Friday.

Field Day festivities are being held on the lower field at PQ, with students rotating through various stations to compete in different activities. Each grade has been assigned a specific color t-shirt to wear to represent their class.

On Thursday, all students will attend an assembly and a pizza party, provided by the PTO, as part of broader "Field Week" fun.
