Run the kids ragged
Carmel Sports Club, the indoor sports club and kid paradise, is hosting a Summer Kids Fest. The day is a chance to meet staff, try out the inflatable Gaga pit, play games, win prizes and generally get a taste of what summer camp at the Club is all about. Kids 4 – 13 are welcome to attend, and registration is required for one of three one-hour time slots.

Meet the artists and experience the Sonic Innovations exhibit at Caramoor. Walk through the grounds, where you’ll find six different pieces that incorporate Caramoor’s natural beauty within the art. No reservations needed for this FREE event.

Get creative in Plein Air
The Hammond Museum will host Plein Air Painting on its grounds Saturday afternoon. Hobbyists and professional artists are invited to paint, draw or photograph in the museum’s garden. Participants must bring their own materials. RSVP required.

Geek out in nature
The Lewisboro Land Trust is hosting Bioblitz, a fun, communal citizen-science experience at Mount Holly Preserve. Participants will learn the basics us using iNaturalist, a popular nature app that helps you identify plants and animals, before heading out into the preserve to record as many species as possible. Hit the trails
It’s Sunday RUNday with the Bedford Riding Lanes Association (BRLA). Executive director Lindsay Hearon will lead a slow and meandering 3-mile trail run on her favorite “secret” BRLA trail. Registration required.
