Booster Club rallies community support for clothing drive

The North Salem Athletic Booster Club hosted a clothing drive on Saturday, May 22 at the North Salem Volunteer Ambulance Corps. The annual event benefits people in need around the world as well as North Salem High School student athletes.

Five Booster Club Board members and twelve student athletes worked together to organize and run the event. Community members were invited to drop off gently worn clothing, athletic wear, baby & kids items and shoes. The total weight of all items donated will determine the amount the Booster Club receives for its fundraising efforts.

 Lynn Zoubok, VP of memberships and sponsorships for the Booster Club, expressed the Club's appreciation for the community's support in helping to make the event a success.

Proceeds from the drive will  help fund the Club's end-of-year event for senior student athletes. The Club is also funding an additional award this year for a female athlete.
