New York State Police are investigating a report of shots fired overnight at the Bridleside apartment complex in North Salem. The incident was first reported to police at 3:02 a.m. on Sunday, March 28.
Aaron Hicks, public information officer for the New York State Police Troop K, said, “there is no threat to the public at this time.”
A resident's vehicle was found to have three bullet holes in it, two on the driver's side door and one in the lower portion of the windshield. Both front tires had also been punctured.
Around 10AM on Sunday, state troopers went door-to-door at the apartment complex, asking residents if they had heard or seen anything, and seeking footage from any security cameras that may have captured the incident.
