A long-lasting snow event is expected to descend on our area today. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter weather advisory for our area, in effect until 7PM Friday.
Snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected today, with total snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches by the end of the event Friday, according to the NWS.
Hudson Valley Weather expects the heaviest snow Thursday to fall mid-day through the late afternoon, with temps in the upper teens to low 20s.
