North Salem native Michael DePaoli named Fordham men's basketball interim head coach

North Salem native Michael DePaoli has been named interim head coach for the Fordham University men's basketball team, effective immediately, according to a statement released by the University on Tuesday afternoon.

Jeff Neubauer had been the head coach for the past six seasons. The Rams are 1-7 this season. DePaoli, in his 11th year at Fordham, will lead the team for the remainder of this season while the University undertakes a national search for Neubauer's replacement. 

DePaoli graduated from North Salem High School in 2003 as the school's all-time leading scorer with 1,767 points. He was inducted into the school's Hall of Fame in 2007.
