PQ releases plans to return all remaining hybrid students to full-time instruction

Pequenakonck Elementary today released updated guidance on its plans to finish returning all students to full-time instruction.

In a note sent to families, Principal Mary Johnson said, “we are revising our plan to increase our student population by one week. The plan at this time is as follows:

Grade 3 - All-in on February 1

Grade 4 - All-in on February 8

Grade 5 - All-in on February 22”

Grades K-2 completed their phased return to all-in instruction in early December. Under the new plan, 5th grade students will be the last group to be brought back full time. They will return the Monday following the District’s winter break, scheduled for the week of February 15-19. Johnson said that more details will follow on Tuesday, January 26 when the school sends its next “Tuesday Newsday” weekly newsletter.
